Lescher and Mahoney Architectural Collection

This enormous collection contains representations of architecture from territorial architects Thornton and Lee Mason Fitzugh, Royal Lescher, John Kibbey, and Leslie Mahoney, among others, spanning the decades of pre-statehood through the post-war period until the firm ended with Mahoney’s retirement in 1973. The collection contains microfilm and drawing collections of many of the buildings such as hospitals, schools, and offices that created Phoenix and Arizona’s built environment and still stand today.
