Ernest L. Nickels Architectural Collection

Ernest L. Nickels graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Architecture in 1964. Later, he started E. L. Nickels Design Studio in Tempe, Arizona and went on to practice architecture and landscape architecture for more than 30 years. The collection consists of architectural drawings and presentation boards covering over 20 of his projects during his career from the 1960s to late 2000s. Most of his work focuses on residences and churches, but the collection also includes design competition entries and architecture school projects from his time in college. Please note archivists will need 10 days notice before a scheduled viewing of unprocessed collections.
